Took a few random pics of the 172 kit I've fitted to my T5.. Not fully run in as yet, but can feel the increase in torque, pulls much better, I'll find out how it runs at higher revs in the next few weeks. It's *loody noisy though, clanks on every stroke, just sounds pretty unhealthy, though I'm told that is normal I'm going to strip it down again once run in to give it a check over just to be sure. Bit of difference here... PM Tuning modded head..

Yep, it's on the standard carb just need a bigger main jet, I'm running a 120 at the mo, once it has run-in I will need to check the colour and maybe come down a size. Head needs to be reprofiled, new oversized piston will hit the standard head, pretty cheap to get done though. Luckily I had a spare head (as it took a month to get it reprofiled!) Compression is raised a tad and you then need to run on super unleaded. I've got a different plug, think it was a 'colder' one Ignition timing is retarded by 1 degree, with a timing gun and a timing disk a 10 min job, you also need a flywheel extractor as the stator plate needs to be moved to change the timing.. Oh, and I've just fitted a Simmonini exhaust which sounds much nicer than the SitoPlus I had before Can't say this has been a trouble free project, I'm not totally happy with the way it sounds and feels, so I'm taking it to a specialist later this week.. I have a bad feeling that there is some damage to the piston and barrel
