im new to the scooter scene, got myself a T5 and have been loving every minute of it. anyway scoots been off the road for a few weeks due to it needing a new exhaust and with money being tight will have to stay off for a while longer till i got the money. The other day i started it up just to make sure things were ok, the gears were jammed so took it for a wee spin to free them up but i noticed none of the electrics were working, horn, lights ect. anybody any suggestions what the problem might be?

hi mate, your electrics problem cud b a few things,1st id try lookin at the connection thats in the little black box thats just above your coil, take the screw that holds it 2getha out,and inside u should have a little white connector with a black, and a blue wire inside, just hav a look at it and ensure the connections r nice and clean and go 2getha properly, try that 1st,if it isnt that it cud b your regulater,or a main earth-andy

andy problems again mate, none of the lights are working at all now, brake, head, indicators nothing, headlight was working then just stopped. bought a new sidelight bulb and that blew almost straight away without the light actually coming on, plus, yes there's more. the indicator light thing on the speedo is flicking on and off all the time even when the indicator switch is off. think my scoots cursed mate.

sounds like your regulater is buggered mate,or an earth problem-have you access to a multi-meter and do you know how to use 1???,if your regulater is not workin, when u put a new bulb in it will work-but when u rev the scoot up the regulater if at fault wont (regulate) the power to the bulb and blow it.wuth a multi-meter you cud see if youve got power, and at what voltage to your lights. Can you lend a regulater to try??
