Malossi 166cc Cylinder kit

Hi peeps, Thinking of buying one of this kits for my px125. can anyone tell me the improvement it will make? ie top end pulling up hills etc etc

this kit will give a bit more top end and pull uphill ( on standard bike )
but be aware that you can not just bolt this on and go !!!
the malossi kit needs the crankcases ported to suite , it will also need a bigger main jet or carb ? and if its auto-lube you might have to add a little 2-stroke to fuel .

my 79 p125x runs a DR180 and 110 main jet apart from that its standard ,the top speed is still 50 but it pulls up hills well now ..

the DR kit needs no porting as the piston has them ( 10 ) , I've had no problems with it and have done about 1000km on kit , because of the portings on piston the top end sounds a bit rattly but been told this is normal..

if you want a standard bike with big bore go for DR kit.

if you want a fast tuned bike fit the malossi with all the other tuning parts exhaust etc . needs to be properly set up though.
