1st time owner please help

Hi,

I have recently bought an ET4 to commute to work.

It's MOT is due at the end of month, how much should I be paying for MOT and servicing? I know I can find this out by phoning a service centre but I'm afraid of getting stitched up!!!

Also, I notice that I am meant to have an immobiliser but I can't get it to work, I have tried the red and blue key thing but that damned LED won't flash. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Also, the clock is insane, how much would it cost to replace it ?

The best way to not get stitched up when phoning a service centre, is to phone a few my friend.

Apart from that I'm afraid my knowledge of autos is like yourself: skinny!

Check the connections in the LED?
Clock (speedo?) isn't an mot item.
