Have just installed new clutch(150km), but the new ones seems to grip to hard and to direct when I start on the first gear. when I put in 2nd, 3rd and last gear it seems to function correctly. Can it be that they are to new, and needs to be selfadjusted ? Can anybody help me with this problem?

all vespa clonk into first and can jump a bit ,even more so when cold . did you soak the cork clutch plates in gearbox oil for at least 24 hour before fitting as dry plates cause this problem ! also did you clean any roughnes on the edges of clutch housing slots so the plates move freely. hope this helps darrin..
