whats the best method and best stuff to use to clean small rust spots from a chrome carrier and the crash bars in the usual places where they catch most weather?

I think someone on here said it's no good, but Autosol has always worked wonders for me.

I thought that was for piles Devo!
If your rust spots are on the surface and not too bad, Mer will get them off. Believe it or not, Coca-cola is also very good for removing rust from chrome.

had concidered brushing my teeth with it....then thought better of it. I use Mer after Spence recommended it. good stuff. Use Autosol for tougher spots, applying it with an old soft toothbrush.
