As the dark months draw closer, I always wonder how many of us are still nutty enuff to be riding regardless? "Nutty" is all relative in my opinion - my DAS instructor recently commented, on seeing my T5, that "if you can ride that f***king thing, you can ride anything" - an opinion that was expressed before he'd even had a little go on it, tried the brakes and nearly shat himself. No matter what time of year, I'd rather ride through hail than take the tube/bus into the middle of a London rush hour.

thought i'd need a canoe yesterday lol. Why do they put manhole drain covers in the places you want to take the bend or have to avoid something else?? and why are the majority on the I.W. an inch lower than the already poxy road surface??

Manhole covers are generaly in the middle of the road something to do with the angle of repose to protect the integrity of the foundations of adjacent propertys I,m all ready now for another winter just bought some Regatta Thermal action pants so I will be riding out looking for some thermal action

Manhole covers are generaly in the middle of the road If that is true, then whom ever placed them on the roads down here was probably on something...they're all over the place lol
