Hi All
After recently buying my P125X (1980) I took it for a good run tonight for the first time.
Bought it on the 10th July but it had been garaged for about a year and run occasionally.
The problem tonight was, after about 5 miles with no problems it started chugging and spluttering.
It had new spark plug fitted when MOT`d about two weeks ago.
Full tank of fuel (calibrated mixing jug used for oil).
Could this be that it needs a long run or might it indicate a problem?
Cheers

It could be crap in your carb or exhaust, or moisture. Even garaged scooters will gather damp if they sit there for a while (especially if they have to share a garage with a tumble dryer, like mine do!)

Will get someone to check points ( I`m not good with mechanics) and then give it a long run, hopefully that will do the trick.
Thanks All

Looks like the problem is solved.
Had the petrol intake on the carb adjusted.
Might have to apply some plumbers tape though as it seemed to vibrate off position.
Thanks All
