I am wanting to fit a Halogen headlight bulb to my PX 125 (1980).
Does it have a battery.
If it does, how do I get to it.
Need to determine if it`s 6v or 12v.
Have been advised Halogen will only work with 12v.
(I know very little about mechanics of scooters).

If you have a battery, it'll be under the nearside panel (your spare wheel fits round it). If there's no battery there, you'll have to get a conversion fitted.

Hi
It will be 12v all px models and pk models are 12 v
if you are going to use halageon baulb you need a conversion kit for the headlight on the early px models

you don't need a conversion kit BEEDSPEED do a bosch fitment halogen bulb that fitted strait in my 79 p125x.
