Take waterproofs and don't run out of petrol (and your breakdown cover card). Should be fun!

You will find it surprisingly easy. especially if the weather is good. 2 and half hours at an average 40mph add half an hour for a stop. We just did Grimsby to Chester for the northern aces do, 170 miles each way took just over 5 hours each way over the peak district. fantastic ride in the sun. was fun going in the rain. Get on with it you will love it. Just take your time and don't thrash it. better to arrive late than break down.
good luck

If you don't thrash your engine and you've got the right amount of 2-stroke in it you won't get a heat seize and you shouldn't need to stop to let the engine cool. On a V90 you'll need to stop at least once for fuel, and may need to stop to get the blood circulation back into your arse cheeks, so that will help.
I'm not sure what the consumption's like on a 90, but if you know how much you can do on one tank, just stop for petrol at the next station you see after doing three quarters of a tank. That way you won't need to take a petrol can.
Honestly mate just give yourself plenty of time, plan your route carefully so you don't end up on any roads you don't want to be on, and you'll enjoy it.

you should get 80 miles to a tank on your V90 my LML 180 did the NASC on two tanks to 170 miles and I'm sure the hills from Buxton to congleton took care of most of one of the tanks. did from GY to chesterfield on 4 litres.
