Don't knock it mate, I did mine on a Yamaha CD125! As long as you pass that's all that matters.

Hi Allie, welcome to the forum. I agree with Spence, I reckon it's easier to pass on a bike and it's the passing that matters. Best of luck.

Thanx for the luck, feeling quite confident got the hard part out the way, the hazard perception part on the theory think its absolutely pointless.

I had to do the theory test, but they hadn't brought in the hazard perception thing by then so I missed out on that fortunately.
If you haven't already, get your instructor to take you round the testing area. Mine took me to all the places he knew the examiners did the U-turn test to make sure I could do it. The hardest one was a narrow road on a slope and it took me ages to get it right but my instructor said he hadn't seen anyone get tested there in years. I don't have to tell you where my examiner made me do my U-turn. Luckily prior practice and preparation prevents p*sh-poor performance.

good luck with the test. I did mine on a honda cb125 horrible bloody thing. so busy trying to get the hang of the foot change gears I failed on the emergency stop. bought an LML star and sailed through it. spence is right the hardest part , daft as it sounds is turning in a road on a steep camber. practice it. dont look at the kerb, look where you want to end up.

I could do the uphill to downhill turn fine, but I couldn't for the life of me do the downhill to uphill turn. Then, I started keeping my back brake with my foot and all of a sudden I could do it. I think it was like Jasper Parnevik keeping a tee behind his ear, but it worked for me.
