Hi all,
I used to ride a shabby but excellent running '65 Sprint (about 4-5 years ago). I loved it.
After a couple of years I was foolish enough to move up into riding larger capacity machines and am now trying to find my way back to scootering.
I just finished driving and old Land Rover Defender from London to South Africa and so need some wheels to get me around. Could anybody help me find a decent scoot?
I'm not especially bothered which type I get but something older and a little battered but mechanically sound would be preferable. After looking on Gumtree and eBay it seems Sprints and ET3s could be a bit spenny for my liking but if I could they'd be top of the list.
Any ideas/pointers would be welcomed. I'm going to cut and paste this message into the wanted section (i hope this is OK?).
Cheers,
James

The advice I always give when asked this question is, look at the Trader pages in the middle section of Scootering when it comes out, browse www.scootertrader.com, and seek out your local club because they'll always know what's for sale in your area.
