Hi everyone, was hoping to find someone who would be able to help me to get 2 1960s vespas up to mot standard. They have both been brought over from Indonesia and look and run great. I went to the DVLA in Chester who told me that they need to be m.o.t.ed and insured before I can get a plate for each of them. I did exchange a few email with Spence who gave me a name of a member, Kev from Bromborough, who he tells me is particularly talented in this regard and said may be interested in helping getting these 2 up to standard. So Kev, if you do get to read this, or anybody else, not a millions miles away, who would be interested in looking at these for me I would be most pleased. By the way, obviously I'll be looking to pay the going rate. Looking forward to getting these on the road. Cheers All. Sean.

Hi Kev, thanks for responding. The Vespas look fine and don't need spraying really, so that's ok. I am on the Wirral too so I can bring them to you no problem. I'm made up that through Spence, I've got someone who's interested in tinkering with them. spence we left the clipper as they started having a band on on are meet night and we could not hear a thing so the queens it is a lovelly little bistro lol  |

Does'nt the Shed of Shame meet on a Wednesday clash with the Cloud 9 meet at the Old Colonial ? or am I getting involved with some politics here ?. Reason I ask, is because I occasionally come over to the Cloud 9 night if I can't make the Liverpool night on a Thursday due to shift work.

;DShed of Shame meet every Wednesday and have done for the past 5 years! C9 use to meet on a Monday but changed it to a Wednesday but their pub has shut so I dunno wot they are doin now!

Well "Supa Kev" has certainly come across. Delivered the first of these 2 imports to his house about 2 weeks ago and collected it yesterday having been dismantled, rebuilt, reinvigorated, renewed and fully MOT'ed. Absolutely well pleased! Kev now has the 2nd one to tinker with and I don't doubt that when he's finished with that one, it too will be like a new scoot. Look forward to indulging in the consumption of alcoholic beverage at the Queens some time very soon and meeting the gang. Cheers Kev, made up mate!

Where's the Mersey Clipper ? Cloud 9 website says " just by Tranmere Rovers ", but does'nt give road name etc.

If you know where Tranmere Rovers is, you know where The Clipper is. It's the pub in the car park where everyone has a pint before the game.
