Hi all, iam new on here. Ive got a PX125 disc-3 years old, ive had it standing for about 10-12months, and now i wish to reuse it. Ive drained out all the old petrol from the tank and put new in, and also brought a brand new battery and charged and put it in. Ive tried bump starting it, but no joy has anyone had a problem starting their's? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Check the obvious to start with! Fuel on? ignition on? If there is a spark there and you have charge try bumping it a few times. You didn't put diesel in it did you!? ;D

was it running ok when you left it? did you take any measures before mothballing it for the year? looks like your going to have to whip the plug out and have a look for spark etc, dont forget all the fuel in the carb etc will have evaporated and will take some time to refill chamber etc take carb top off and air filter and open throttle wide open then kick the engine over, you should see petrol spray out from the jets, so that then rules out one problem.
