Buy a Vespa, find out the engine's f**ked, replace it with a new engine. Find out the frame's a jigsaw, replace it with a new frame. Surely that's.... buying two Vespas?
A sobering tale.

There is some reputable dealers out there importing these bikes and example being www.vivoscooters.co.uk I have seen hairy restorations from the uk as well though. Luck of the draw if you order direct. Stay away from points engines as 99.9% of the time you will need to replace it.
