I know I will have to drop the engine and split the cases to fix it but I wondered if anybody has had simlar problems . A couple of times when starting off my engine has siezed and stalled , try to kick it over and the kickstart wont budge , I put it into 1st gear and rock it about against the gear with the clutch out and it seems to free everything and it kicks over fine and runs great , I have recently changed the cruciform, gear and clutch cables . Any sugestions gratefully accepted thanks.

When you put your casings back together did you replace the spring for the kickstart quadrant in the right manner. Was your sieze an actual sieze or a violent locking up type of engine failure.
