Hi there, this is my first time on the forum so i thought i would say hello and ask a (hopefully not stupid) question. I am trying to buy a vespa super 150 (1966), it comes without mirrors or indicators . Will I be able to drive it on the road legally? I looked online but couldn't find anywhere that mentions it. Hope someone can help thanks a lot patrick

Hi Patrick, Welcome to the forum Hopefully I'm right - you can ride legally without them because they were originally designed and built without them. I'm sure someone will let me know on here if I'm wrong

Hi Lucia, thanks for the reply. I assumed that this was the case but always good to hear it from someone else too! Looking forward to driving it

Any vintage vehicle that was built without automatic turn signals is legal, provided you can do hand signals.
Mirrors aren't obligatory on any motorcycle, they're just recommended. I have a 1967 Sprint and I wouldn't be without my legshield mirror. This doesn't, however, stop me from looking over my shoulder as well.
