Then i will recieve a document to send to the dvla so i can get the right log book and plate. Does anybody know how i would get this done? Please help as this will be my first scooter! thx

Sounds like a ringer, talk to the police first. Get the frame and engine number to the DVLA, they have the files.

Thanks 4 reply, apparently the dvla said that it needs someone to give them a date certificate and they will send new log book! Think ill get it sorted before i part with cash! The scooter has been insured and motd but the dvla said it needs to be done this year! Its a nightmare as im new to all this!
