Hullo, 1 more welcome for you!
Am just trying to figure out what your avatar pic is. Is it a bairn on a Reading shirt?

Hello mate, welcome aboard.
Liking northern soul isn't a requirement* but it'll probably help. Lots do.
Any ideas yet about what scooter you fancy getting?
(* I don't dislike it, it just ain't my thang)

I put him on my Reading shirt in the bonnet of my Beetle ;D I'm sure he will support his own team as he gets older, the rest of them do

(* I don't dislike it, it just ain't my thang) Hi Rob, not sure why I put that as I have a wide taste in music, Just miss my old Soul days. I'm not sure about the Scoot at the moment I have been riding bikes for years and now fancy a scooter (As much for the social Scene as anything). I would love an old one but its going to be a finance descission. I've 5 lads ranging from 19 to 2 and half so I never try to take anything out of the family budget. I have joined to meet people see some scoots and get some advice...So if any body has any Ideas it would be greatfull ;D

Hi Keebs,
Understanding your point about the family budget. Five lads? You have got your hands full haven't you?
As you're probably aware, there is a good social side to scootering, with plenty going on to keep you entertained, and there's always plenty of good advice on here if you see a scoot that you fancy. Ask away.
Good luck and have fun. Rob.

5 lads, what, were you trying for a basketball team or something?
There's a great scene in the Reading area Keebs, my mate Dan's from Maidenhead and he drums in a couple of bands you might have heard of - Ye Gods and The Small Fakers - definitely worth checking out.
