Thanks Spence, tried those 2 just wondered if there were any others thats all. I was looking at Smalleycross scooters nr. Derby as Satchmo seems to think they were ok for him, but thought it would be better, with knowing sweet f.a. about looking after a scooter, if the dealer was closer.

Well you did say south Yorkshire, not Derbyshire. I can't speak for Smalleycross because I've never heard of them. Ron Daley and Armandos are two very well known dealers.

Strange to hear that Rodge, Ron Daley comes recommended by none other than the president of the AFSC.

I tried Ron Daley, don`t think I had the same salesman as you as mine was ok just a little boring. Didn`t get the sale though, they were £250 more otr and offered me £450 less for my part ex. Armandos were always good when I use to go around 15 yrs ago, not been since though. I got my PX from Jeff Hall MC`s in the end got the last one he had. What you looking for?

Cheers Bogey, Im after a PX125, new, in either black or preferably cameo. But for me its not so much buying the thing, its the sorting all the trivia out, (paperwork, cbt, help for a complete beginner!!) thats what bothers me! Did you buy the blue one that was in the window fron Halls???

Yes I got the blue one. They sold a Cameo one a few week before also a Silver one which would have been my first choice. Dont worry about the `trivia` bits its all straightforward. If you buy a new one you will have to do a few things but nothing too hard. Buy the Scoot first, the dealer will then register and tax it for you. To do this you will have to get it insured straight away and I then got the cover note sent to the dealers so they can register it. All this can usually be done in around 5-7 days. At some point you have to do the CBT. I would do it before i bought the bike or you could get it delivered to the CBT place and do your CBT on it. Its all very easy and well worth it.
