new here.. am 16 in january and fer wouldnt mind a vespa as a few of my mates have em. Im guessin it would have to be 50cc.. so yeah help haha!

cheers, well thats the thing i need some help with that i dont want any of the newuns it would have to be 50cc as thats the only thing im able to ride.. as for model i aint got a clue thats why am on this forum haha, can anyone help?

Won't comment on those at the mo, but there's the newer Vespa LX50.

Welcome Jonny. As you quite rightly said, it's got to be a 50cc if you're just 16, and as you also said you don't want one of the newer models, you'll be looking at something like a PK50 or a 50 Special. PK50: 50 Special: By all means browse ebay for these models, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying from there. Have a look at www.scooterpages.com (or see the centre section of Scootering magazine), or better still, get yourself along to your local scooter club and ask if anyone knows if there's one going for sale anywhere. And if you're going to view, take someone that knows scooters with you so you don't get ripped off.

yeah man my dads an engineer and i have a friend at a club whos askin around so hopefully will get some feedback.. what do you think would be a suitable price and what are bad/good things to look for on the scooter? cheers!

Take your mate with you to view a scoot you fancy, or even post the pic on the forum (or link)but the price can vary depending on age/condition. If you're new to it, I wouldn't spend over a grand on a second hand one that's a bit worn round the edges.
