Hi Edward. That's a very nice shine you've got on your scoot there. And it's a very nice country to live as well. I spent two weeks in Singapore last year and, probably like most people on here, always keep an eye open for scooters when abroad. I saw quite a lot while I was there but not many that you might call cherished, mainly unloved commuter bikes. I did see some nice ones parked up at the east coast beach briefly. There were a few of what some people would call curiosities there, Vespas (?) with what looked like cut down legshields and GS sidepanels. I didn't get to see any close up but I saw quite a few whizzing past me. Maybe I should look these things up but I'm not a scooter anorak. Speaking of which, it was strange to see all the two-wheeled riders wearing their jackets back to front with the jacket open at the back. I suppose this is to protect from the frequent downpours while still getting the ventilation at the back? (because, by heck it's hot!). If so it makes sense. Ride safely. Rob.

Hi Edward.
Spent a week in Singapore last month on business and stayed at the Orchard Grand Court on Killiney Road just of Orchard Road.
Saw a couple of scooters when I was there, who knows one might have been yours.
I’m scheduled to go back some time later this year but this has not been confirmed yet, but if you monitor this sight I can let you know and may we could meet up with you and the other members of your club when I am over and have a few beers.
Ste Rice

You are all welcome mates!
Yes, over here, you might find stuffs and habits specially found here and no where else, hahaha!
From the Vespa Singapore forum, you will be able to see some photos and mods that we do. Lamby, GS, super & sprints are very very rare here. You will find lots of PX modified into sprints and supers though.
Ricey, you are most welcome to join us. You can e-mail me and I will do my best to arrage a meet up @ our local bikers pub that serves good food and beer.
edwardtianwy@hotmail.com , my local mobile number (+65) 90210905. Maybe I would trouble you to get hold of some scooters publication to share amongst us?
