Well

the time has come for the 2nd MOT since rebuild.

Hopefully this time the garage will sort out the carb and choke issues so I can start riding the bloody thing!!

God knows what they'll charge me this time

It probably needs a new carb and the choke cable rerunning

Today the bike wouldn't start and had to take it on the recovery van:'( What a shame!!

Have decided I'll change the whole carb and lets hope that will solve the problems.

Has any1 got any experience of that shop in Rochdale?

I very much doubt you'll need a new carb.Strip it right back,soak in petrol overnight and then clear all jets with air.Rebuild with a new gasket set.

I'm afraid mate the slide is a bit bent and the choke mechanism isn't working well as well. Tried the fix you mentioned but it didn't work.

Plus if I wanted the garage to try and sort it out, I would have to pay about the same in labour so just thought I'll swap it for a new one.
