pk 50 carbs

i just happen to have a spare 17.5mm carb (off a gilera dna 50), was wondering, do i have to modify the inlet to get any benefit? i dont mean attaching it to the pipe, i mean will it make any difference with the standard inlet pipe?

i feel it needs doing as my pk is being stangles by the tiny standard carb

About £140 will get you a complete ET3 motor off this guy and if you meet him at prearranged destinations, delivery from Belgique will cost you nowt. You'll spend a hell of a lot more money trying to get a PK50 motor to go faster.
