Hi all. I am Stevo and I am now the owner of a soon to be restored PK50 XL.
Had a Vespa during the mod revival in the late 70's and am now at an age when I am trying to recapture my youth.
Got this project from a German couple who bought it over with them years ago. They are now moving back to Germany and are leaving the scoot behind.
I am technically inept(?) and am confused as to what i have bought. Can anyone help on a couple of queries i have?
1 - Does this scoot have a battery?
2 - Is it classed as a small frame or a large frame?
3 - Which bits will fit this from other scooters i.e PX etc?
Any help very happily received
Hope to chat with some of you in the near future.
Stevo

Welcome Stevo. If you don't get your answers here (and I'm sure you will) you can also try modernvespa.com. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks there too. I don't know the answers but I'm placing bets that the answers are: 1. Yes 2. not sure at all, but am guessing largeframe 3. Pretty sure most PX parts won't fit and am not sure about interchangability with other models.

Welcome to the forum , I can't be much help to you, not really up on my PK's but it is a 'smallframe', believe it was the replacement for the old Vespa 50/90/100/125 line which ran from the 60's, PK replaced it in the 80's. Bodywork is quiet different to the PX range, so not sure you will find much compatibility there I'm afraid and engine is not PX either, guessing that will have more in common with the old smallframe line...
