Just a quick hello to everyone - yet another old git returning to the scootering . I'm based in Rochester Kent. Currently riding a 1965 Sprint which I bought in May last year. Spent all summer getting used to it and sorting out a few problems. Now I'm looking forward to doing a few miles and attending some rallies on it this year. I did try to attach a photo of the scoot but the file was too large! Cheers dunworking. ;D

Hello & welcome to the forums mate. No more pics of Sprints please, seeing Spence's in Scootering is enough for me! LOL!

It looks good in the flesh and that was the problem. It blinded me to the normally obvious mistakes, like the wrong frame, a brake light that only works when lights are on and the only way to stop it is by stalling as there is no cut out button anywhere. Still now I have changed the exhaust it goes really well. It came with a Ken Cobbin exhaust but struggled to reach 40-45 changed it for a Scootrs one and now it fairly flies, for a Sprint, up to and indicated 60. Mind you after being off bikes/scooters for 30 years it still scared the pants of me having to lean to keep it going straight along with poor brakes and poor handling - don't know why I love it some much! I thought it would give me a bit of quiet time on my own but every time I go out my 11 year old daughter wants to come with me.
