Hello and Hi to everyone I hope I haven't offended anyone but the T5 has gone and I've bought a pair of Classic Ape's for my business.
There both off of TV one from HeartBeat & one from the Fall Guy both being 1972's but i could really do with some help & knowledge please i need to get some parts but as there from the older versions they'll need to come from older dealers or even a Vespa Dealer parts needed are like
Clutch, Throttle & Brake cables
Air Box & Carb Filters
Carburetor bases ( black hard round with two bolt holes)
brake pads
Tyres
bushes for engine mounts, shock absorbers
Most of what i need are servicable parts but trying to find dealers who have them for Ape's is turning into a nightmare i'm sure they must be accesible and i'm sure there readily available if i had the right name
If any members now of what parts are interchangable, a dealer or a stockist that has them or any member who has any parts please contact me any info would be really appreciated
Many Thanks
Shaun Stearman

We did have one guy, from the Channel Islands I think, join the forum and ask questions about parts for an Ape quite a while ago, but I don't think he's been on for a long time.
Lu, maybe you could ask that garden centre in Meols where they get parts for their Ape.
