Intro time,
Been away from the scooter scene for bit, well quit a bit actually almost 20 year, my how time flies. Been looking at getting a new scoot for years, bit of a standing joke amongst the lads I know who never left, but finally bought a GTS least week and lovin it. The wife has put it down to a mid life crisis ;D
Got a few wise cracks about it not being a true scoot, but times are changing and the GTS is the future, but like garlic bread I suppose.
Met up with a few old scooter heads when I attend the Liverpool SC meeting last week and it felt like I had never been away. Can’t wait to get the visit run under my belt, although I will have to invest in a complete new set of clothes, seems I have put on a little bit of extra weight since I was last on two wheels. Alright Ste, you're welcome here whatever you ride, but a Vespa's a Vespa mate.
Make sure you come across to the Cloud 9 Do at the Woodside in Birkenhead on Saturday 17th Feb.

Hi Bryno, thanks for the welcome.
Took me sometime to rekindle the urge but finally took the plunge and it feels like I have never been away. If only I could turn the body clock back I'd be laughn
Kicking myself know as I sold my S reg. Rally 200 and 1964’ish TV 175 for £90 when I decided to hang up my flying jacket. Looked at getting a decent Lambie but the prices are unbelievable. Still speak to the guy who bought the Rally and he still has it, although it's in better nick know, but he would not part with it. Sad really when you think you can by a brand new Vespa GTS 250 for the less than a 20 or 40 year old scoot.
