That's interesting that you don't give it a few revs with the choke-out Nick. I always do, though I'm not really sure why Any reasoning behind this mate?

I'll look out for that one Rob. I love The Decemberists, caught them in Manc a few years back. Picaresque is a brilliant album.

armadilloscooterwear.com/toughenoughNew ad for Armadillo with a stunt man on a PX dicking about. I'll mention though that my mate is involved in the web presence of the company and he wants me to do some blogging for them as well so I'm not sure if this contravenes the forum rules, give me a big dry slap if it does Spence. These sort of clips do seem to be of interest here though.

I doubt you have a reserve, my 2006 PX doesn't. I think the feeling is that if you have a fuel gauge and a low fuel warning light then you don't need a reserve. You're setup sounds correct to me.

Was havinga few bevvies on the new 'Vespa bar' on Wilmslow Rd in Withington Manchester yesterday. Worth a look if you're round that way.
It has plenty of Vespa memoribilia and a modern PX parked inside.

Crikey Mark, no one can accuse you of having splinters on your arse! ;D
Okay. Point 1, he's getting there! Point 2, backup vans only! Point 3, they can, but when done well they can also look ace. Point 4, if they don't everyone will look like Wurzel Gummidge eventually! Point 5, I concur. Point 6, £130 for 1 scoot only 3rd party, also with MCE.

I don't know about Nodnol with me being a Northern monkey and not a Southern fairy ;D, but I commuted close to Manchester city centre (on apparently the busiest bus route for Europe) for 3 years.
The only thing that I found to be a real danger was filtering at junctions, if you do it, do it very slowly. I've had a few near misses (and 1 where there was no miss) in these situations. Our 4 wheeled friends don't always indicate and often pull out without checking properly .
Happy scootering!

Anyone know any of this lot? They seemed to have quite a few UK contacts.
I got in touch with them recently while I was in their city. What a sound bunch of lads, they couldn't have made me more welcome.
One of them let me borrow a PK with a Pollini kit, nippy little bugger. He was on a beaut '68 Primavera. Was great to be back in the saddle again after nearly 3 months!
Another lad who runs a scoot shop took me to some cool punk night near Harvard. You wanna see the kit he had in his garages. 4 or 5 50s Maicolettas waiting to be restored for starters.
Anyway, if anyone heads that way I reccommend looking 'em up!
They regularly come over to England and mainland Europe for rallies as well as travelling daft distances for ones in the States.
PS They even have a member from Rhyl!
