Oh yeah it's not the seals I tested them. I suspected oil seal. Tested was fine. It got the better of me so I did a complete strip down ,well 3 actually. All tested all looks good. But she still cuts out. Very rarely happened under 1/2 throttle.

I think its fuel starvation, it just kind of goes bbbbbbbwwwwwwwrrrrrrr.... then sometimes kicks back in sometimes stalls altogether. Only ever done this since switching from si24 to si26. Any one got any experience of something like this? Or anyone had success with fast flow taps etc....... many thanks scooterbooter.

I'm always grateful if they work at all. The earths and conections need regular maintenance. I wouldn't fiddle till there out completely. Sometimes a gentlemanly tap it required. They are useless.

All you must do to fit it is remove fan shroud then It's just two nuts then conect the connector. You don't touch the flywheel or stator. Lemon sqweezey. Proper plug and play.

Mines running a bit lean up top. It normally takes at least a year for me to jet it right. I think I have it but then the little voices are never happy. They make me tinker.

I love nina Simone. Her performances are amazing. And the black Woodstock performance is spine chilling. Amazing but not Northern soul. I love the old motown too. I know what a sellout.

Ha just read it properly. You can't get a true reading doing it how you doing it but it can give an overall idea of what's going on. This will show after a few miles. Engine hot. Only proper plug chops give true readings . That's what I think. But it'll probably be near enough of an idea for you to sort it out good and proper Bristol fashion. I think your doing just great.

Once plug has coloured you'll get a reading quickly with a hot engine. Always hot cold engine no good for plug colour.

Oohh at least 50miles. But they also need to be longish runs if you can to get it started. Trouble shows quickly keep your eye on it from time to time but also pay attention to how the bike is behaving. You'll get there . PATIENCE is the key here. If it rides right it's probably right.

Yep they are like for like. I've seen different fixings and brackets used but overall same thing. Good idea if you want to learn. Blow one up use the other. Then fix ready for when you need it next time it blows. The Indian kits of nuts and bolts are a real bargain. I got one and it gave me years worth of bits to use. Worth considering.
