Has anyone swapped there standard PX shock for the shorter PK one, hoping to lower the front end by about 2cm. Has anyone done this on here? Read a few other forum posts of ppl doing it and all that was needed was the enlarging of one of the hole on the PK shock mount. Would this work?

Adrian may well has done this… I’ve used a rear shock for the front for a set of extended forks to raise the front… Hoping to get them fitted soon to see if my bracket/bit of alloy block works… But I am interested as I like the street racer look. 🤠

Yes I have done this , using a cabone pk front shock on px forks , but forks shortened by 25mm and fitted to sprint . On my px Street racer I have lowered the front with a bgm pro comp shock and the bgm lowering plate , that dropped it 30mm . The think with fitting a shorter shock on standard px forks is you have to look At how much travel you still have , but it's easy enough with a couple of measurements. Let us know how you get on

reading through this just now... modernvespa.com/forum/topic168146.2a guy called Gravelrash2004 seems to have just put on the pk shock with a small amount of fettling on the mount hole, no need for cutting from what i can read.

No need for cutting, unless you are putting px forks into a sprint , super, vbb ect, as they will sit higher

I have the medium spacer on the back shock thats 42mm think the standard is 56mm, though I was told it can be taken off all together, but it was a hassle removing back wheel lol On a side note when i had spacer off the rear i refilled the gear/engine oil then put spacer back on would that change the angle?? the oil sits at inside if that makes sense lol

I took the spacer off the rear and found the carb box hit the frame , so added the shorter one and now just clears 👍
