My LML 150 2t has a oil leak which is getting worse I think. The scooter seems to be running fine. The Oil is dripping from beneath the gear box area. I've checked the gear oil and it appears to be at the right level. However there is oil round the rear hub, so is it conceivable that when as I'm riding it the oil is spreading from the clutch seal and accumulating anywhere it feels like it. My apologies if this is a silly question....I am on the south island of New Zealand and while I can get parts it's not a straightforward process. So I'd like to have a fairly confident idea of what I need before ordering, thanks

First thing I would do is give the engine a good clean, then go for a ride and see where the oil is coming from. I would change all the seals and gaskets, as one is leaking, the others are probably the same age . I change seals every 2 years with the bearings and crusaform , but I ride quite hard and clock up the milage

Thanks for the advice. It makes sense to replace all gaskets. Where's the best place to look for detailed information about where to start? Thanks

While the Haynes manual is not brilliant it is a good thing to have. It was invaluable to me when I stripped and rebuilt my first PX motor. I still have an oily copy in the garage. Also Martin Sticky Rounds new manual, if it is as good as his lambretta manual (which knowing Martin it will be) it will be worth getting.
As said Scooterhelp is worth a look

I can’t find one, can someone point me in the right direction? As for thickness, the Lambretta boys need all the help they can get…. 🤪

Sorry my mistake, i though Stickys book was large frame not wide frame.
Back to Haynes....
Picked one up the other day, the quality is very poor these days... Would not last long in the garage
