Hi,
I have just purchased my first scooter. I have never own a motor bike before and at 54 years of age, could be considered a late starter š
My ride is a 1971 Vespa Douglas 150 Super which I intend to restore back to its factory, original condition.
So, as you can imagine I will need help on this journey. Especially as I can only find info on a 125 and nothing on my 150??
Has anyone got a parts list, wiring diagram or any other info that will help me source/match part and part numbers?
Had a look on eBay but they donāt show the year for parts or comparability for my Vespa.
Help needed please.
Based in Barking - East London / Essex
Advanced thanks.
Tony

ve-uk.com/Always helpful on the phone, was talking PX glovebox doors only the other day, Iāve always heard good things about Vespajets, just not used them yet. Also SIP in Germany are pretty good, but keep your orders below Ā£135 from them, hopefully avoid paying duty on your orders you see. www.sip-scootershop.com/en

Turns out noā¦ But Iām waiting for some parts to get here, so should know in a few days. Rules changed 1/1/23 for importing, I think if the parts are under Ā£135, you should ālimboā the threshold for VAT, at least that was the case. Thereās still a handling charge from the usual couriers (about Ā£12) as long as these are factored in, some parts can be cheaperā¦ I ordered some luggage hooks (may remake them when I get back to workā¦) they are quite nice I thought, got the SIP bags (glovebox one and spare wheel one) plus a couple of other small bits. All of the SIP scooter bag thingys are expensive from suppliers over here (I understand the mark up etc, I work for a classic car parts firmā¦) so thought I would take the chance. Last time I ordered from SIP, I ordered the full front panel faring (genuine non indicator model) was chuffed to bits with that, plus other stuff just before Christmas just goneā¦ They did get through, and no one stocked them in the uk, VE stock them nowā¦ šš¤£ see link below for luggage hooks: www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/luggage-hook-mrp-floor-board_22159593

Have a look at scooterhelp, the link I posted earlier. With the frame number, and engine number, it will tell you exactly what you have.

Had a look for the engine number - all I could find was 775 stamped on the each side of the casing. Does this mean anything?? There is also another stamp which is āI thinkā 1.G.M.3884S There is another mark before the 1 but canāt make it out??
