Rare opportunity to get hold of one of these quality spanish made cylinders.
Alloy with a pressed steel liner.
It has larger transfer ports, a two-piece boost port and a top hat shape bridged exhaust port, exhaust stub is cast not threaded.
The original piston that came with the kit had issues with dropping pegs, this was the downfall of the kit.
However the answer was use a genuine piston with ports enlarged as per the piston supplied.
RS tuning and Harry Barlow used the piston layout and timings as the base for their stock p2 tune, but the kit has the the boost port.
Effectively you have a quality mild tuned cylinder in ali.
This should not be confused or compared to the crap indian 200/210/225 ali cylinders on the market, they have badly fitted liners, smaller than standard badly cut ports and poor quality pistons.
This one is freshly bored to 4 thou clearance and a 67.1mm genuine piston with enlarged windows and new rings. Ran for about 75 miles to test it, while mine was been rebored.
Uses a standard late type head, not supplied.
ive just done a fresh bore/piston on my current chiselspeed tuned kit so this is surplus.
Ive done thousands of fast miles on these kits.
Runs great on a standard 58mm crank, but even better with a 60mm and inlet timing increased. Use a SIP R2 or 3, drilled filter, slight up jet and you have the motor that should have come out of the factory. Like a standard but with proper balls.
Out of the box with all standard components (carb, exhaust) these did 15bhp
Cylinder and piston incl pin and circlips, still needs some running in, use your standard head (ideally have it opened to 67.2mm)

Please note These barrels were made before electric start, so you need to remove the toothed ring on flywheel. You can modify the cylinder to fit, please consider this.
