Hello spence lucia&everyone, does anyone know why T5,s are now collectable,is it because there isnt many left?,is it because the mark one T5 had a big headset?,or because there wasnt many imported to the u.k.when they first came out, anyway,i would be interested to hear what everyone else thinks, cheers, neil huyton.

i think it was because they were so slated at first, the shape of the back end, the headlight, etc, then when they were passing "race tuned 200cc" lambrettas and p200's people realy started to take note and see past the "space age" features, people had got used to vespa's been smooth shaped with round headlamps , some just didnt like change at the time.

I didn't like them at the time, but I love their quirkiness now I've got a TX200, imported a year ago

I hated t5,s when I first seen one 1985, then a few years later swopped my C reg 1985 P2 for a H reg T5 , 18 months old loved it.
