Hi, my PX 125 back indicators are out and sometimes when i turn fully to the right all the front lights go out too. I've been under the horn cast and and when i jiggle the groups of wires i can occasionally get all the lights back on. Getting them to come on seems to work when i'm pushing wires upwards into the headset. The front lights are only affected when turning fully to the right and and will come back on when i turn fully to the left. The rear indicators are pretty much out 99.9% of the time. There's no issue with the brake light at all. I'm going to attempt to get the headset open this weekend, but is there a particular place i should be looking for the issue?
Big thanks for any advice. Simon

Just go around all the joints methodically, check behind the switches and connectors. Check earth connections. Some people try to stretch wires doing repairs, look for an old bodge.

Are there a few earth connectors in that area? Also forgot to say when everything goes out, that includes light around the speedo.

Also check that the wires are not frayed and shorting, between the headset bottom and the top of the frame, where the top fork race bearing is, obviously check with the handlebars turned right too!

If when turning the handlebars the speedo terminal block was being pulled would this cause all the lights to go out?

Yes if there is a stretched bodge or tired joint.

So the headset is off with speedo disconnected. Faffed about with wiring under there to see if I can find anything, also faffed about with terminal block under horncast, can't find anything there either. Rear indicators come on, replace headset and they go off again.

Check the headset top is not hitting the spade connectors at the front light, if their is any!

I like the word "faff"... sounds like you could also be trapping a wire when you're screwing it back together.

Well i think it's time to admit defeat. Managed to get the rear indicators working with the horn cast and head set off. Put the horn cast bank on and they're still working. Then replace head set, and still working. Leave it for an hour or so, start engine, and still working. Take the scoot for a short run to end of street and back and they've stopped working again. Repeated process several times over the weekend and the same happens every time.
Thanks for all your advice, at least i've learned some new stuff for any possible future issues should they arise. On this occasion will call a Vespa repair shop.
