Hi gents,Px200e I fitted new sip oil seal brown metal inner blue, motor started, white smoke ran motor for15 minutes, the motor sounds good removed the head and barrel,a layer of black oil in head chamber, and piston full of black oil, how can I fix this problem, do you think replacing a different oil seal, brown metal seal with brown inner, or a brown metal seal with a black inner or inthe rubber one. Help, thanks no petrol smell in gear box oil.

Did you put the big gasket on the flywheel side of the case, then close the two sides together?, if you didn't the big gasket may have moved and given you an oil sucker, which gives you the same symptom as a blown couch side oil seal.
Will try and find some videos for you, can't remember if I found them for you before?

Or...
If your sure it's the clutch side oil seal that's gone, if you're engine is a Px200e and NOT a p200e as you say, I use the brown Corteco and shorten the lip edge as described in the video BEFORE fitting, if you don't shorten it, the seal will hit the bearing when you spin the bearing by hand, this will cause it to fail very quickly.
Plz also have a look at mista freak mopeds youYou site, as he has loads of useful information.😉

You would also be wise to do a leak down test, using a home made tester kit 👇. www.scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38107When you have the engine together but haven't yet fitted the clutch, attach the testing kit to find if the clutch side oil seal is leaking or not! More reading and photos of leak down testing , I use a 28mm carb manifold ( only because I have a spare one) attached to a CUT bicycle tube, to which the other end is attached to the cylinder exhaust manifold, as seen in the two large pictures on page 2 of this link , of the PX engine that "SaFiS" posted 👇. modernvespa.com/forum/topic132304Other ways are just as good, if you don't have access to a manifold for the larger carbs 😉.
