threaded casing @ cylinder stud

Advice please
As stated , I've managed to thread the casing where the top right cylinder stud fixes , what is the recommended fix ,helicoil???, or is there an easier way , any input greatly appreciated

You could use helicoil type fitting or Beedspeed  still sell cylinder studs with an oversize thread on one end, so you could tap to new size and use thread lock.
