A basic but nonetheless important question:
how best to get your vespa off the centre stand?
a) do you put it in first and let it "ride" forward over the stand? b) gently push it forward whilst on it? c) lift the scoot up so the stand folds away d) push it forward whilst stood next to it? e) any other method?

I usually straddle the scoot and push forward with none of my weight on scoot, or push off the stand while stood next to it, whatever you do don`t be tempted to sit on saddle, engage first and ride off the stand, I think a previous owner of my PX did this and it has put a upward dent in the floor next to where the stand bolts on. that is my opinion anyway.

Kick it up , walk to near side , left hand on left of headset (not gear change ) right hand on back of seat . Left boot in front of stand and push forward . As taught on CBT . Or for me sidestand up ,sit on and push leccy start ! Lazy bar steward me !
