How come Piaggio think they are doing well with 23hp from a 300cc engine when BMW have a single cylinder 300cc motor with over 30hp as standard? I am not a GTS owner but I can see me having one at some point in the future so the more oomph the better, but they sure aint cheap.

I feel they are far, far too expensive and their (lack of) quality rustproofing is shocking in this day and age.

If I wanted speed that much I’d buy another R6 That had 108 bhp,,,And loads of penalty points 😡 Not a plastic moulded scooter with 23bhp I bought a px for the style and just enjoyment, tinkering with

Ah! But one or piaggio's big selling points is ... "metal bodied" lol.
I like a PX for cruising and thrashing! When I'm in the mood, that's why I've spent so much time learning to tune and spent so much money over the years on my wee Italian shopping bike fetish 😉😱, that and I like the challenge.
I'd rather spend less money and give buy this👇 from these guys, as I subscribe to their YouTube channel and have watched it coming together ,to me ,it's cool.

That bike is spot on. If somebody was to start producing retro bikes like that brand new they would make a fortune. A basic small to mid capacity machine that was easily modified to your own taste would I think be very popular. Whatever the performance advantages we might have in modern machines, we just can't get the look. Just compare a 1967 Triumph Bonneville to one of the new ones. I know which I'd rather have. And why do the new bikes have to be so big and heavy? I used to have a Triton cafe racer that I could lift off the floor, try that with a modern 650.

Take a look look at Herald. Classic bike styling, with most of the kak parts replaced... was the reason I bought the IZH...
