Good day,
Having some thoughts as to what helmet I should be looking to buy for my cruises out on the Vespa as I would really like a casual style open face helmet instead of my full on sports lid Shoei. One key feature is that it must fit under the seat in the vespa, as it's nice not to have to carry it around with me, and I don't want a top box.
Style wise, I really like the Bell custom 500 open face helmet, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if this particular helmet would fit under the seat of the Vespa? If it doesn't - are there any other similar styled helmets which would definitely fit so I can find a stockist to go try it out, or do I really need to start looking at the half helmet types?
Cheers

Why don’t you just Chain the helmet to the scoot Lock through the chin part and onto ( on mine the rack )

Cos I really fancy an open face (will help encourage me to ride at slower speeds), so there's no chin bar to do that.
I'm not really keen on leaving helmets out using that under seat strap latch either - I go to the tt most years, Last year I heard of thefts where a bunch of helmets secured by their straps to the under seat latch had their straps cut and were stolen. Admittedly these open face helmets are cheap so would be less of a target, but still, being able to store it within the bike and out of sight, and the weather, would be a massive plus for me!
In fact ideally I would like to fit 2 helmets under there so our lass could leave hers too!
