Hello, I'm thinking of getting my px put on a dyno machine can anyone tell me what they do? and what to exspt? from it.

Get it running perfecty smooth and spot on, Then dyno tune it to make it even better, The better YOU have it running the less work they’ll have,,So should be cheaper for you

conversely, you will be disappointed by the actual recorded top speed, which will force you into shelling out for more upgrades, tuning etc etc

The theory is that they check the emissions at various engine load/speeds and make sure it is not too lean or too rich, this sort of thing is the accurate way to set up jetting and suited to engines that have a lot of modifications. If your engine is fairly standard it will probably not seem like good value for money, if however you have a heavily modified motor it is a good way of finding out how many extra HP you now have and to make sure you don`t have a heat seize due to running too lean
