On bottom of barrel any good or stick to foil one?

I've used them in the past on a Polini 177 barrel I think? it was (still have it in my shed) that I shortened and put a spacer on the bottom and never had a problem. I,'d stick to what normally used on your standard or kitted barrel tho. could be wrong but think some of the kits have cardboard type base gaskets.

I should have added, using gasket paper may also alter your transfer and exhaust timing,if your not sure what your doing,so another reason to use the normally used gaskets for your barrel.😉
