Today, I have mostly been.... Annoyed... Bloody roofers made an unannounced visit on the shed. Now have to empty the lot in order to tidy up, the joys of a council tenant......

yesterday i was mostly supposed to be swapping top ends on engine for 50 spesh an finishing building the taffspeed race/sprinter engine . but started out by tidying the front room were i build engines ,(clean/light an coffee on tap).went thru my spares stashes an organized em , smallie pile/large/t5/lammy an cosa/ets box.found loads of stuff i'd forgotten owning an felt really chuffed .but ended up cleaning kitchen an changing bedroom around an 3 1/2 hours later realising i hadnt touched engines yet . it was good news for somebody tho, when sorting thru boxes i'd brought from my pops place i found a brand new pk 3 stud inlet manifold ,got no clue were it came from or that i even owned it. a mate on another forum (smallframe) had put out a urgent plea monday for one ,as his broke an he's due at big7 this weekend .rushed it round to managements to use puter ,an he'd just come online to say he'd ordered 1 from krautville but doubted it would arrive by friday.so lucky ,he should of been buying a lotto ticket .addresses exchanged an its due at post office at nine ,i love it when a plan comes together ,as hannibal use to say. did manage to swap the polini/worb5 top end for the dr125 1 so 50spesh engines ready to fit ,an taffspeeds in a cradle on table looking hopeful,so strangely i'm praying to have another rained off day this week to do that . after all the excitement i felt good an that i'd not wasted the day ,so went for a quick prayer at church an then sainsburys for a take-home to carry on a prayer meeting/bible study at home .an wasted myself as reward for not wasting a rainy day .H

Scooting though central london to the city! Such a joy just passing livid people in cars with a smile on your face. Also nice to be able to just park up without trouble. Another point for the scoot. Looking forward to the ride back!
Enjoy folks.

That reminds me Goth, went over to Hunstanton with a local club once, saw a Ferrari in the ridiculously long queue in the heat... He was "saluted to" by every scooterboy going past (was only 7-8 of us, missus was nice looking, but surrounded by 2 stroke smoke...), was funny as hell!!

Haha. Lovely stuff. We all know who was having the most fun on the road there! I was over at Hethrow today. All the way round the 406 and down the A4. First time on a proper major A road. Was pretty surprised at how unscary it was. Scoot is running lovely, sitting at 60 no issues and again coming home cutting through the traffic was rad. Google was saying 1hour 45 by car... I made it in an hour. ππΌπ΅π€

It's the best feeling, sitting in the middle of the lane doing 30 mph into another head wind, not caring about the increasing line of cars behind... That's the problem when you're 6 foot 2 and built like a "relaxed" weightlifter.

IMG-20170615-00022 by henri briggs, on Flickr .yesterday i was mostly chipping dirt off this "dirtiest engine ever" . were talking rock hard 3" thick baked on dirt n oil, took me 10 minutes just to see the breather with a screwdriver an hammer ,it was like sculpting a engine out of dirt . weirdly the last owner had bolted on a 112cc mallosi kit an not bothered to clean engine at all , god knows how it didnt fry . that an enough shrapnel in gearbox from a medium sized grenade ,needs investigating .its getting new bearings an primarys/clutch an a upgrade to 4 gears so not that worrying just baffling why you'd kit/tune a crackered engine .H

Today I've mostly been.... getting a look and listen to my mates rough as ?SIL GP that he bought a few years age on Ebay, for Β£3000 whilst p*shed out of his mind!!!( it was worth less than Β£2000 when he bought it!)πππππ.It's been sitting in his garage for a few years covered with household crap, he cleaned out the tank and fitted a new fuel tap and to our surprise.... it sounds OK. The moral of the story is ...... Don't get p*shed (drunk, for our American friends π) and go internet shopping! π±

Today I've mostly been looking for helmet cams. Missus had someone try to run her off the road on a busy dual carriageway in the morning rush yesterday Doing 80 with a Citroen DS3 on her left knee pushing her into the central reservation. All because she overtook her filtering through traffic leading up to the slip road.
It's not the first time either So currently found a Drift Ghost S for around Β£250, got good reviews so far Unless anyone can recommend me anything better and/or cheaper ?

Good luck. JimβΊ Forgot to add, hope your Darlin' isn't too shaken up, Bud.

Filling the scooter with diesel! What a lovely start to a Monday morning. Wasn't until it was full I noticed! Livid. At least I caught it though before starting her up. Hopefully just a tank drain needed when I get home tonight.

Today I've been very close to cutting the LD horncast I found for Β£20, to fit my cutdown. Thought I would check to see how expensive they are.... Glad I checked. Now thinking of making a mould and fibreglassing one up from it so I can cut that to fit instead. Hmmmmmmmmm.......

Trying to work out why my electric start isn't working... Battery has plenty of water and fuse seems ok. All the wires seems ok. When I press the starter I can hear the relays clicking there is just nothing happening. Abit stumped here. Any way I can test my CDI before forking out for a new one just in case that's my issue?

think that horncast is a french one mushroom , the peak looks a bit long for italian .an as its ebay theres no side on piccy ya can tell from . if yours hasnt the lower horn hole ironsloth its a mk3 one, horn was moved up to the bars then . they come up cheap quite often ,just some people see the similarity to series1/framebreather horncasts an then price accordingly ,mine cost me Β£25 an is going to be a bedside light .H

cheeky bugger , i call em that as i love em , but dont want to be precious about em , there only "italian shopping bikes" after all . today ive been removing this 1 from the cabling bench (read back wall) an stickin lump n headset on . IMG-20170701-00053 by henri briggs, on Flickr IMG-20170701-00054 by henri briggs, on Flickr excuse the lame-bed-wetter sneaking into shot , its a curry burning/vindallo fired API , an i love it . going to see if a local curry house will sponsor me an have there name on panels .its the "mid-lash motors" works hack .
