Just been for the MOT on the PX. Got there and the headlight bulb had blown, tipical ! Tester swapped the blown 35/35 W halogen H4 type bulb for a 60/55W (the only one he had) to get me through the test . Will this higher wattage be ok or should I get another 35W bulb ? Dunno if I should be worried about heat issues ?
Cheers.

ive been told that it depends on your regulator - it will only allow a certain power output. If youve got your 60W headlight on and you brake and indicate, there will not be enough power to be shared between all these bulbs.
Try a 35W halogen bulb and see if that is any good.

I would change to a 35 Watt at the earliest opportunity......before you blow the regulator up
