How do I fit a USB port to a none battery Vespa.

Like many, wiring is not my thing so I need help with this one please!
i want to fit a Usb socket to my Vespa which is a non battery p200e engine fitted into a sprint frame.
What would be the best positive wire to connect to for power, I have a on/off switch fitted inside the side panel!

As far as I know you'll only get 12v A.C. without a battery
Otherwise you'll need some sort of bridge rectifier to convert to DC

As Mushroom said you'll need a bridge rectifier and also a smoothing capacitor. The usual place is tap on to the live feed for the lighting wiring. This will give you DC out, then you can connect one of the cigarette lighter 12-5v USB adaptors. If you're not really into electronics for the sake of £20 or whatever it is now you might as well buy the 'modcharger' product.
