brake light switch ,lighting switch an either change or alter loom .depends on is it a p200/points or px200 electronic ignition engine . an also rear of carb box will probably foul the frame ,10 mins with molegrips or pliers an it will be fine .H

Just a wee correction, all p200e ( that's the engine I have) and px200e vespas are 12volt electronic ignition. ( I know Henri knows his stuff, so think it's a typo)😉😉😉 Or if I'm wrong, Henri can put me right and I'll apologise and have learned something new. 😀
Outkastmike, if you google Beedspeed wiring diagram and look at the images, it may help.

Just to clarify, my thinking was, all Italian Vespa 200 engines with manual gearchange had electronic ignition.
The Rally 200, 6 volt electronic, later ones had 12 volt electronic I believe, using the same ( complete)engine that was used in the P200e.
P200e and PX200e had 12 volt electronic.
I don't have a Scooby about Spanish 200 etc ☺
Cheers Jim.

to clarify back , rally engines had the femsa (spanish) 6 volt electronic ignition ,an are different engines to p200's in a few ways .femsa was not trusted so a fair few were retro-fitted with points anyway .early p200's came in either points or electronic ,the flywheels having both a points cam an adjustment hole an a trigger point for lectronics . the spanish being awkward stuck with femsa on most of there scoots , gt160/gt180's , rally clones .an switched to ducatti on there tx200's ,a t5 body with p200e engine .
