DONT go near the beedspeed kit I had nothing but problems with it. the stator plate needs modifying to set the timing the flywheel rubs on the stator mounts and you have to file them down to prevent the rubbing. by the time youve done that the stator will be burnt out because of the flywheel and you have to buy a new stator and start all over again after all of that once you get it running it wont perform at full throttle and youll spend months changing jets trying to get it to run properly. then youll buy a vespatronic system and your scoot will run sweet first kick.

Too late bought it and semi fitted it. The original wiring loom fell apart so I've replaced that, but moving stuff about the control cable outers have perished too. So in the middle of connecting everything back up now I see what you're saying about modifying it to fit, but I was a bit apprehensive about spending £350+ on vespatronic I've got a VNB to do later so I'll see how it goes

hi best i can suggest is that you mark the curved mounts for the coils on the stator with a black marker pen then fit the flywheel then you'll see if the flywheel is rubbing, if it is file the mounts down a bit then keep repeating that proccess till the marker stays on. if you read my old posts you see how much bother I had. the problems with performance all pointed to eather an air leak or jetting, after over a year of trying different jetting setups removing and splitting the engine 3 times to check oil seals i finally descovered the problem was the bajaj ignition system. I bit the bullet bought the vespatronic kit fitted it within an hour and my scoot went from struggling to reach 40mph to over 60mph. I know the vespatronic is expensive but i wouldnt hesitate for your VNB
best of luck mate
