hi guys some advice needed. How easy is it to change the clutch side oil seal on a 1974 sprint veloce and do i need any special tools to do the job ie puller etc.

you can do it with just a clutch castle tool your flywheel should have a circlip built in whicjh acts as puller , its a fairly big job but nt hard

to make it easier a flywheel holding tool an clutch holding tool can be bought or made .there fairly cheap an will prevent damage to engine an hurt to you . H

thanks guys can the seal be changed with the engine in place or do you have to split the casings?

you will need to split the casings either way, you can do it in the bike! but if your going to the trouble of a split , id take it out to make sure you can see the seal as it goes in right , i dont like doing them, in the bike as you can get dirt and bits of the frame contaminating the engine , either way jet wash the engine first ,
