My daily commute is a 5 mile round trip, with lots of junctions and traffic lights. I'm averaging between 60-70 miles per 5 litre fill on my pretty much bog standard 84 PX. Is this in the ballpark for urban miles? Cheers

Sounds fine. Does it start really easy when warm?

Thank you, gents, mind settled!
Guru, after some chopping and changing with main jet after drilling out the air filter, then a fiddle with the mixture and idle screws, scoot starts cold first kick with a little choke and first kick with no choke when warm. To be honest, I don't think it's ever started and ran as well as it currently is

100km between fills (no fuel gauge) is always safe for me; still is with 26/26 carb and venturi on Beast.

Its all about how you ride i think. 100km is a good figure for tuned or stock and yeh it is also about finding the optimum set-up i also get about the same figure on my tuned 225 and also on a stock 200 The thing is, on my old stock 200, riding long distances at around 100kmph meant riding at near WOT Whereas on my 225, 100kmph would be half throttle only.... (using the same size (stock) carb on each motor too))
